Enlighten me! 3rd one down is nettle..dandelion...plantain....is that angelica??? Did you see on River Cottage Garden the Dandelion jam recipe??? I so want to make that...how beautiful :)
You're right about the stinging nettle, dandelion and plantain! The picture below plantain is ground elder in young stage. The other ones I'm not telling yet, maybe some others would like to guess as well :)
thanks for that, i was wondering what the ground elder was, ground elder ...the second one i really wonder, the first one is Bellis perrenis, ons madeliefje!
sorry can t resist the temptation to give a wild guess one more or two! hondsdraf, Glechoma hederacea, ground ivy and Stellaria Media, vogelmuur, chickweed???
or maybe garlic mustard, more likely!
:) Nice one, Murielle!
Ok, so we have:
1: common daisy
3: stinging nettle
6: ground elder
7: garlic mustard indeed :)
So, the 2nd one is geum?
Yes it is, geum urbanum. Good job, Sean!
